Warning lights that project coloured dots onto the ground in front of the vehicle have made a significant contribution to improving safety in the handling of forklift trucks in recent decades. The development of bright coloured LEDs and sophisticated lens systems plays a major role in this. One of the pioneers in this development is the American manufacturer J.W.Speaker. Its model 770, also known as the blue dot, revolutionised safety lighting in intralogistics. The spotlight is still very popular today.
